In simpler terms, qGuard allows users to verify once and reuse everywhere without compromising privacy.
When a participant, such as a renewable project owner or an investor, joins Netzium, the qGuard SDK performs their KYC, liveness check, and proof-of-address verification. Once verified, a decentralized identifier is created directly on their device and cryptographically signed using hybrid algorithms:
• Ed25519 for classical speed and efficiency
• Dilithium2, one of the NIST-approved post-quantum algorithms, for future-proof security
This combination makes every identifier and credential quantum-safe, resilient against the computational power that future quantum computers may bring.
From that point forward, the verified user can reuse their credential across the Sync Neural ecosystem, for example:
• to verify ownership of renewable tokens on Netzium
• to participate in governance votes
• to link to energy production data
• to invest in new renewable projects
Each verification happens instantly. There is no need to repeat KYC, resubmit documents, or expose personal data. The credential’s proof, not the underlying data, is verified on-chain using qGuard’s hybrid cryptography.
Because qGuard anchors only cryptographic hashes, not personal data, to Hedera, the entire process remains immutable, transparent, and privacy-preserving.

Under the hood, qGuard’s ecosystem includes three essential layers:
Issuer Layer
• Institutions such as Netzium, Sync Neural, or their compliance partners act as issuers.
• They verify a participant, for example a renewable asset owner or energy auditor, and issue a verifiable credential that is cryptographically signed and anchored on Hedera.
Holder Layer
• The user’s device, through the Sync Neural app and Netzium wallet functions, stores their identifier and credential locally, so the user owns their identity.
• Each credential is signed using HybridProof, Ed25519 plus Dilithium2, ensuring both performance and quantum resistance.
Verifier Layer
• Whenever the user interacts within Netzium or Sync Neural, for example to register a new project, claim energy output, or transfer tokens, the system verifies the credential automatically against the issuer’s DID document, the revocation list, and corridor-specific policies such as AML checks or proof of address validity within 90 days.
All of this happens without revealing private data. qGuard uses selective disclosure and zero-knowledge proofs so only what is necessary for compliance is revealed.
You might wonder whether quantum-safe identity is only a future problem. In truth, it is already a present challenge. Quantum computing is advancing quickly. Once mature, it could break the cryptography that secures today’s digital infrastructure, including blockchains, wallets, and financial transactions. The risk of harvest-now-decrypt-later means data gathered today may be vulnerable tomorrow.
